He belongs to a remote border village near the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir state, India.
She belongs to a rapidly urbanising village in the Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu state, India.
A distance of 3,350 kms separates their families.
They live together as a married couple in New Delhi.
They met for the first time as classmates pursuing M.A. in Political Science at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
They are currently PhD research scholars at JNU.
She loves teaching and is currently teaching as Guest Faculty in the Dept of Pol. Science at Miranda House, University of Delhi.
He loves body building and spends 2 hours at gym everyday (since 3 years) and is a gym trainer to all his buddies (who are a lot!!)
